With support from the Ministry of Culture, Taiwanese performing arts groups are featured in the Taiwan Season at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025, which opened on Aug. 1.
With support from the Ministry of Culture and the Taipei Cultural Center in New York, Taiwanese arts group Dimension Plus has been invited to showcase its work “VS AI Street Fighting” at the MUTEK Village Numérique in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 
The Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in the U.K., in collaboration with the UK City of Culture initiative, will present the Taiwan Focus program, featuring Taiwanese performing arts groups D_Antidote Production and S. Production.

Hosted by the Preparatory Office of National Taiwan Museum of Comics (NTMC), the exhibition “A Century of Manga Culture: An Encounter of Taiwan and Japan’s Youth” officially opened on Aug. 16.

The Taiwan Technology X Culture Expo (TTXC), co-organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Kaohsiung City Government, will take place from Oct. 10 to 26 at the Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung.

“We TAIWAN,” the Ministry of Culture’s cultural program at Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan, concluded on Aug. 20. Over 19 days, the program featured 38 art groups and 129 activities, attracting more than 200,000 visitors. 
Cultural Features
Founded in 2012, Elephant Gym is a math rock band consisting of a bassist, a drummer, and a guitarist. The trio hails from Kaohsiung. Siblings Chang Kai-hsiang (guitarist) and Chang Kai-ting (bassist) grew up receiving classical music training from their mother, a music teacher, which sparked their curiosity for various musical styles.

Located in Luzhou District in New Taipei City, Luzhou Lee Family Residence, a traditional Chinese family compound, was established in 1895. The Lee Family immigrated from China’s Fujian Province to Taiwan’s Luzhou area around the 18th century and built their own home in 1857.
