Selected by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts (NTMoFA), the National Cheng Kung University Architecture Departments project, “NON-Belief: Taiwan Intelligens of Precarity,” will represent Taiwan at the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale.
With support from the Ministry of Culture (MOC) and the Taiwan Academy in Houston, the exhibition “Breaking Ground: Art and Activism in Indigenous Taiwan” opened on Aug. 16 at the IAIA Museum of Contemporary Native Arts (MoCNA) in Santa Fe, U.S.
With the support of the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Thailand, River City Bangkok is hosting the international graffiti exhibition “Graffiti Social Club.” Opened on Oct. 9, the exhibition will be on view through Jan. 4, 2026.

The National Museum of Taiwan Literature (NMTL) kicked off the 2025 Taiwan Writers Festival on Nov. 14. Titled “Worlds Awaken,” the festival invites the public to explore the rich languages, environments, and cultures of Taiwanese literature.

On Nov. 14, Minister of Culture Li Yuan attended the prelaunch press conference for the F:F:F—Formosa : Finland : Fest music festival, where he unveiled the participating Taiwanese and Finnish heavy metal bands.

The Ministry of Culture (MOC), in collaboration with the Academy of Moral and Political Sciences under the Institut de France, has announced the recipients of the 29th Taiwan-France Cultural Award. 
Cultural Features
Born in Taiwan in 1963, Suling Wang pursued a Master’s degree at the Royal College of Art, completing the program in 1999. Drawing on her childhood experiences in Taiwan, Wang’s work often features elements of Taiwanese folklore, Buddhism, Taoism, and Chinese calligraphy, reflecting strong influences from Eastern art traditions.

Located in Xingang Township, Chiayi County, Peigui Hall is a historical building that blends Minnan, Japanese, and Western architectural styles. It stands not only as a monument to the legacy of a prominent family but also as an emblem of the evolution of modern culture, medicine, and education in the region.
