The Golden Bell Awards, Taiwan's premium honor for television professionals, celebrated its 50th anniversary in Taipei on Sept. 26.
The star-studded ceremony at the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall was hosted by some of the most recognizable faces in contemporary Taiwan television, including Chang Hsiao-yen (張小燕), Chang Fei (張菲), Jacky Wu (吳宗憲), Kevin Tsai (蔡康永), and Dee Hsu (徐熙娣).
A specially composed song dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Golden Bell Awards was performed by singer Shin (信), and additional guest performances featured rock duo Power Station (動力火車), entertainers Zheng Guo-cheng (曾國城) and Janet Hsieh (謝怡芬), and Wakin Chau (周華健).

Best TV Series Director:
