Art exhibition on environmental protection takes place in Hsinchu

A joint art exhibition on environmental protection is taking place from Dec. 8, 2023, through March 3, 2024, at Hsinchu Public Hall. It features three veteran artists including photographer Chen Chih-hsiung (陳次雄), painter Huang Yun-hsiang (黃運祥), and sculptor Lin Han-ting (林漢鼎). It displays 38 works meticulously created by the three contemporary artists who love nature and care about the environment.

Chen Chih-hsiung captures snapshots of the scenery and customs around Taiwan with his remarkable photography skills. Through his lens, Chen shows viewers the beauty of cultural landmarks and natural landscapes on the island. Innovating in the visual language by using unique watercolor techniques, Huang Yun-hsiang conveys his admiration for nature with his brush and pigment in his creations. Lin Han-ting presents his wooden crafts to visitors in the hope of raising environmental awareness and drawing the public’s attention to land and culture.
