Liverpool Bienniale 2025, one of the world’s most prominent contemporary visual art exhibition, will enjoy its official opening on 7th June. Taiwan artist Chih-Chung Chang will be invited to exhibit his work. 
The Taiwan Cultural Center in Tokyo launched its annual exhibition “Colorful – Diversity in Taiwanese Manga” on Aug. 22. 
The National Taiwan Museum (NTM), in collaboration with the National Technical Museum of the Czech Republic, inaugurated the exhibition “Taiwan’s Heritage: Traditions and Techniques of the Indigenous Hunters and Seamen” on Apr. 15.

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) and the French Academy of Moral and Political Sciences co-hosted the 28th Taiwan-France Cultural Award ceremony on Sept. 8, presenting the honor to Jean-Marc Therouanne and Benson Tsai.

The 82nd Venice International Film Festival award presentation was held on Sept. 7 (Taiwan time), showcasing the diverse achievements of Taiwanese filmmakers this year.

The Taiwan International Human Rights Film Festival 2025 will take place from Sept. 19 to Oct. 12 in Taipei, with an additional showcase from Sept. 22 to 28 in Kaohsiung. 
Cultural Features
After graduating from the London Film School in 1984, Liu Soung worked with several noted organizations, include the U.S. National Geographic Channel and the Home Box Office (HBO), contributing as a post-production editor. Eventually, he returned to Taiwan in 1989 and joined Bow Wow Productions.

Situated beside Chiayi Train Station, the Chiayi Art Museum opened in 2020 and consists of three distinct structures: the historical building, the main building, and the side building. The historical building, formerly the Chiayi branch of the Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Monopoly Bureau, was constructed in 1936.
