Jointly organized by the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, Osaka University Taiwan Research Project, and Minoh City Semba Library, an exhibition displaying Japanese translations of Taiwanese author's works is staged at the Osaka University.
As part of Cloud Gate Dance Theatre's European tour in November and December, they will be performing"13 Tongues" in multiple cities in France and Spain, surpassing the important milestone of delivering 100 performances of the production.
Curated by Taiwanese curator and writer Alice Ko Nien-Pu and hosted by Brooklyn Rail Curatorial Projects, the contemporary art exhibition titled “Singing in Unison, Part 8: Between Waves" opened on Oct. 7 in Brooklyn.

Together with the Education and Culture Committee of the Legislative Yuan led by Legislator Wu Szu-yao, Culture Minister Shih Che visited historical sites in Beitou District, Taipei City on Nov. 9.

The 2023 Taiwan Literature Awards for Books ceremony was held at the Huashan Creative Park, Taipei on Nov. 11. Culture Minister Shih Che, Director Nikky Lin of the NMTL were invited to celebrate the accomplishments in the literary field.

The recipients of the 27th Taiwan-France Cultural Award were announced to be Gwennaël Gaffric, French translator of Taiwanese literature; Elizabeth Zeitoun, research fellow of Academia Sinica; Chen Yi-fen, Formosa Baroque Orchestra founder.

Growing up in Beitou, Taipei, Pan Hsiao-hsia originally ran an advertising company. After martial law was lifted, he joined the Independence Post as a photojournalist. Initially passionate about sculpture and painting, Pan became entranced by Taiwan’s indigenous culture after reading "Taiwan Indigenous Cultural Art."

Taipei provides a variety of hot spring choices, especially on the slopes of the massive mountains north of the city. The best-known hot spring destination in the greater Taipei area is none other than Beitou District, a region that is synonymous with hot springs and is one of the best areas for enjoying this heaven-sent natural resource.
