Presidential citation sought for late photographer
The legendary Taiwanese photographer Ko Si-chi passed away on June 5 at the age of 91. In remembrance of the humanitarian compassion that guided Ko's lens, Minister of Culture Lee Yung-te will apply for a posthumous presidential citation.
Upgrading Huashan into content innovation hub
The Ministry of Culture has been actively promoting the transformation of the nation's creative parks in recent years, beginning with a two-part plan to revolutionize Taipei's Huashan 1914 Creative Park into a "Creative Content Innovation Hub" of Taiwan.
Lacquer art, culture on display at CKS Memorial Hall
The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and the Wang Ching-shuang family are holding a free exhibition to showcase stunning works of art that represent the generational inheritance of Taiwan's unique lacquer culture.
