Collaborating with the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany and the Digital Art Center in Taipei, the Lithuanian artists' association SODAS 2123 is hosting an open call for a 2-month residency program. 
The One World International Film Festival, the largest human rights film festival in the world, commenced in the Czech Republic on Mar. 20. This year, the festival highlights three works from Taiwan.
"Small Island Big Song," a unique music, film, and performing arts project, is set to embark on its 2024 US tour in February. The project serves as a powerful medium for connecting the islands of the Pacific and Indian Ocean through artistic collaboration.

The National Human Rights Museum hosted a memorial service for political victims of authoritarian rule at the Jing-Mei White Terror Memorial Park on Mar. 23. Culture Minister Shih Che and other guests were present at the service.

The MOC organized a screening of the documentary "In Search of a Mixed Identity" in Taipei on Mar. 20. The documentary recounts the life of Tang Te-chang, a human rights lawyer who was executed in the aftermath of the February 28 incident in 1947.
As a part of the Ministry of Culture's "Project of Reconstructing the History of Art" in Taiwan, the exhibition "Converging and Tracing Origins: Early Taiwanese Calligraphy and Paintings in NTMoFA Collection" will take place from Mar. 30 to July 7.

Huang Hou-ming was born in 1962 in the Beigang Township of Yunlin County. Mentored by his father Huang Ching-tu, he started to learn folk arts at a young age, including the White Crane Lion Dance, traditional paper sculpture, and the Hunting-Crane Kung Fu.

The Yunlin Storyteller Association is an organization formed by a group of parents and teachers who are concerned with children's education and Taiwan's future. Established in June 2005, it is committed to promoting reading culture and cultivating talents in the cultural field.
