The Taipei Fine Arts Museum collaborates with the SculptureCenter in New York to present the "Small World Cinema," showcasing moving image works from the "Taipei Biennial 2023 – Small World" to the U.S. audience. 
The Thailand Biennale 2023 kicked off in Chiang Rai on Dec. 9. This year's theme is "Open World." Among 60 artists from around the globe, three Taiwanese artists were invited to showcase their artworks.   
The U.S.-based Taiwanese artist Lee Ming-wei's solo exhibition "Lee Mingwei: Rituals of Care" is open at the de Young Museum of the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco. It is deemed as one of the unmissable exhibitions in 2024.

As 2024 marks the 400th year since Taiwan was put on the world map in 1624, which coincides with the quadricentennial anniversary of Tainan City's founding, the Ministry of Culture orchestrated a large-scale outdoor Taiwanese opera show titled "1624."

The National Human Rights Museum hosted an unveiling ceremony at the Jing-Mei White Terror Memorial Park on Feb. 26 to launch the signage system at historical sites of injustice. The ceremony was attended by Culture Minister Shih Che.

The Ministry of Culture has announced the selected projects for international art exhibitions in the first quarter of 2023, as part of the 1 plus 4—T-content plan subsidy program. A total of 44 projects have been chosen.

Lee Ching-hai is a master in stucco work. When he was 20 years old, he met his mentor Lee Si-ruei from Kinmen, and learned traditional construction methods. Then, he participated in various projects, including the construction and maintenance of temples and traditional houses.

Over the 100-plus years since its establishment in 1902, the Freedom House has borne witness to the Japanese colonial era, the relocation of the Nationalist government to Taiwan, and the island's post-war reconstruction. In the wake of World War II, Freedom House even served as an important location for diplomatic tasks.
