The Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, in collaboration with Ilham Gallery, is hosting Taiwanese artist Zhang Xu-zhan's  first overseas solo exhibition, "Zhang Xu Zhan: Jungle Jungle." 
Supported by the Cultural Division of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Spain, the L.E.V. Matadero 2024, an annual audiovisual and digital art festival in Madrid, will host the exhibition "Pixel Gods: Taiwan Digital" from Sept. 19 to Oct. 13. 
The solo exhibition of Taiwanese photographer Shen Chao-liang, titled "Return and Backflow - Shen Chao-Liang Photography Exhibition," is taking place until Oct. 15 in Higashikawa, Hokkaido, Japan.

The Taipei Fashion Week SS25 opening show, scheduled for Oct. 17, will showcase collaborations between six pairs of fashion designers and artists, creating a stunning fusion of fashion and cultural elements.

The Ministry of Culture's Bureau of Cultural Heritage hosted the "2024 International Forum on Taiwan Cultural Heritage" from Sept. 25 to 26 in Taipei, inviting international experts to engage in dialogues on cultural heritage preservation in Taiwan.

The Taiwan Literature Base in Taipei is hosting an exhibition in commemoration of Franz Kafka (1883-1924), a German-language writer from Prague. The exhibition, marking the 100th anniversary of Kafka’s death in 1924, runs until Oct. 13. 
Cultural Features
Lu Chien-chien was born in Taiwan in 1989. She received classical music education at a young age, learning to play the piano at age 6 and percussion at age 9. She graduated from the Graduate Institute of Orchestral Instruments at Taipei National University of the Arts and was a member of the renowned Ju Percussion Group.

Planning for the construction of the factory began 1939 and the factory was completed in 1944. The head office was situated in Zuoying, Kaohsiung, while the synthesis section was set up in eastern Hsinchu City. However, when Kaohsiung was bombed by the US forces, the head office too was moved to Hsinchu.
