Organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Cultural Division of the Taipei Representative Office in Germany, the Taiwan literary salon, running from Sept. 15 to Oct. 24, will bring several Taiwanese writers to six cities across Germany.
Supported by the Ministry of Culture's Spotlight Taiwan Project, the Sultan Idris Education University in Malaysia is hosting the 10th Chinese Literature Festival from now until Oct. 26. 
The Ministry of Culture will host a Taiwanese manga exhibition titled "Blossom" in Japan from Oct. 11 to 27. The exhibition, which showcases a diverse range of Taiwanese manga, will be held at two locations.

The Taipei Fashion Week SS25 opened at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park on Oct. 17. This year's opening show, inspired by the success of Creative Expo Taiwan 2024, features six pairs of fashion designers and artists working together.

Renowned writer Hualing Nieh Engle passed away on Oct. 21 at the age of 99. Upon hearing the news, Minister of Culture Li Yuan expressed his sincere condolences and praised Nieh for her vision and dedication to promoting Taiwanese literature.

The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts launched the exhibition titled "Unconscious Machines" by artist Yeh Ting-hao. The exhibition is set to run until Dec. 22 in Taichung City, featuring the first AI-themed work of Yeh's.

Fu Yung-ho is a distinguished double bassist and music educator. He serves as the principal double bass of the National Symphony Orchestra and is the founder of the Lan Yang International Double Bass Summer Camp. Additionally, he is an associate professor at Taipei National University of the Arts and Shih Chien University.

Previously, the Pingtung 1936 Tobacco Culture Base was the Pingtung Tobacco Factory. Established in 1936 as the Pingtung Branch Tobacco Re-drying Plant, it was responsible for providing technical guidance regarding the cultivation, procurement, and processing/storage of tobacco in Pingtung during the Japanese rule of Taiwan.
